Littering of plastics around the world has been increasing everyday. It is piling up and countries are either finding it hard to resolve the issues or unable to meet the solutions at all.
India generates about 26000 tonnes of plastics everyday. Over 10000 tonnes a day of plastic waste remains uncollected. Though India has a better recycling rate than the world of plastic waste, it needs more regulations and framework to beat the pollution and achieve zero waste.
The average EU citizen created approximately 35-40kg of plastic packaging waste every year. In 2015, European countries were one of the leading plastic waste generators in the world which is adding tensions to the littering issues. However, the Govt. is planning to eliminate such waste and achieve zero waste by 2030.
This virtual conference will cover the ongoing plastic littering issues, the practices and policies that can drive this issue will also be covered by solution providers.
